Three Days!

Three more days!  In three more days Hubby and I will be on vacation for a week!  Lets call it a Babymoon.  Similar to a honeymoon in which you take a vacation after you get married.... a babymoon is a vacation taken before baby is born!

Hubby and I are heading a couple hours north to stay in a cabin. Actually the same cabin we stayed in after we got married. Last time we went it was summer and the weather was beautiful. I'll share a few pictures.

This is the front of the cabin. It faces Lake Superior. When you are inside the cabin you can sit on a couch that is in front of the windows.  We spent many hours just enjoying each others company while we watched the lake.

These two are some views you could see from our little cabin. So beautiful!

There was plenty for us to do. In northern Minnesota there are lots of state parks and hiking trails.  No Dan is not standing on a rock. He is actually that much taller than me. Almost a whole foot. 

One of the last nights there we had a fire on the rocks. It was very romantic and so much fun! 

I had to share this one for two reasons... I feel like it makes me look taller.... AND I think I kinda look like a little kid... which is kind of amusing.

This time... obviously.... we are going in the winter. There likely won't be a lot of outdoor activities we can do. But we plan to just sit and enjoy each others company. Pretty soon it won't just be us anymore. The one-on-one time is going to be pretty limited once Baby comes.

We will relax, play games, read and just enjoy each other.

I am looking forward to using the fire place this time. We didn't have a need for it last time. Remember... it was summer.  This also means come Saturday I will be taking a break from the blogging world. I won't have access to the internet.
