1. Yesterday we had a few trick or treaters. Including two adults. Yes two adults.... dressed up... with no kids. I am not talking about teenagers or high schoolers or even college students. I am talking about two grown adults who were over the age of 30 and one looked to be 40 or 50. Yeah what the heck. I gave them candy but I was super confused. We had a few kidos come by too. We never get many at our house because we basically live on a dead end street. But we had a decent turn out. I even had someone campaigning! Crazy! I tried to take Isaac with me when I handed out the candy but that didn't always happened. He was a huge hit when he did come with me though.
2. I'd like to believe that Isaac is one of the favorites at daycare. There is no denying that when you are in daycare or school setting that at least a handful of kids or students just steal your heart. I truly think Isaac is one of those kids. If I had a nickel for every time they told me, "gosh he just smiles all day long" i'd be millionaire. Every time I pick him up they say, "he had a good day today" Sometimes I wish I could be a fly on the wall so I could just watch him interact with the staff. I bet they just love him. But... I am a little biased. So.....
3. The recipe review will not happen this week. We are heading to my parents for the weekend and will be leaving shortly after we leave work. We had two new ones this week though. Both were soups and both were delicious. I am looking forward to spending some time with my family. It's been awhile since we spent some time there. It should be a good time.
I like your number 2 above :o)
ReplyDeleteRegarding number 1 you said you even had a campaigner. What were they campaigning for? I only ask because many of our Prop. 37 volunteers were asked to do "reverse trick or treating." Which means, instead of going around asking for something you go around and deliver informational leaflets. Shaun and I didn't do this because I had to work, but I know others did.
Have fun in at Mom and Dads!

I was going to say what they were campaigning for but changed my mind. We had some "vote no" people stop by. :)
DeleteWow, how odd that two grown adults came!
ReplyDeleteThat's crazy that two adults came! I wish I had the guts to ask them what the heck they're doing?!
ReplyDeleteHave a safe trip and have fun!
